Stephanie Swanzy, DVM
A native Austinite, general practitioner Dr. Stephanie Swanzy has cared for pets at Anderson Mill Animal Clinic since 2003. She attended Texas A&M University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science in 1999. Dr. Swanzy continued her veterinary education at Texas A&M and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Her professional interests include dentistry, soft-tissue surgery and exotic animal care, especially the care of small mammals. Dr. Swanzy is a member of the Capital Area Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Swanzy shares her home with her fiancé, Kirk, and cats Chester, Simon, Bailey, Tobey, Cassidy, Lil Tux, Smudge, Dink and Monkey. An avid runner, Dr. Swanzy has raced in the Austin Marathon, Dallas White Rock Marathon, the prestigious Boston Marathon, and she can usually be found training for her next race. She is also on the Board of Directors of the Twenty-Six Two Marathon Club of Austin and is a member of the Tejas Miata Club.
