Allen Codding, DVM
Dr. Allen Codding is the owner of Anderson Mill Animal Clinic and has cared for pets there as a general practitioner since 1998. Dr. Codding has previously practiced medicine at a number of hospitals in the Austin area, including the Animal Medical Center and the Animal Emergency Hospital of Austin. A native of Oklahoma, Dr. Codding attended the University of Central Oklahoma and received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1990. He continued his education at Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. A member of the Capital Area Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Codding's professional interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and dentistry.
Dr. Codding's animal companions include Tyler, a Dalmatian, and Noah, a Lhasa Apso. During his leisure time, he prefers being on or in the water. Boating, wakeboarding and scuba diving are his hobbies. In fact, he is a dive master for a local dive shop. Dr. Codding and his wife, Emily, were married at Graceland in September 2008 and welcomed a son, James Allen, into their family on December 14, 2009.
