Ida Carter

Ida Carter is the hospital administrator at Anderson Mill Animal Clinic. A native of Sherman, Ida has worked in the animal care field since 1969. She moved back to Texas two years ago from Sacramento, California, where she worked as a hospital administrator/technician for a two-doctor day practice for 11 years and at a six-doctor 24-hour practice for 16 years. She is an active member of the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association, as well as the local chapter of the VHMA. Prior to becoming a manager, she worked for many years as a technician before pursuing a degree in business. Ida shares her home with a Bengal named Jack and a Himalayan named Sheba. In her spare time, she can be found in her greenhouse tending to her orchids and spending as much time possible with her daughters and grandchildren.

Jennifer

Practice manager Jennifer Weaver has helped care for pets at Anderson Mill since November 2007. She shares her home with two cats, Calvin and Bert, as well as a Ridgeback mix named Dougal.

Chrissy Green

Chrissinda Green has been a receptionist at Anderson Mill Animal Clinic since March of 2011 and says that her awesome smile and excellent customer service make her a unique fit for her job.

“I like knowing that we provide the best services for our clients and patients,” she says of her work with us. “Our customer service, from what I have witnessed, is also amazing.”

Chrissinda has a black cat named Onyx and adds that she is looking to adopt a puppy relatively soon. She says her interests include reading Stephen King and PC Cast novels, photography and that, “I am a professional stylist, but only for my best friend.”

Alex Montelongo

Alex Montelongo is a receptionist at Anderson Mill Animal Clinic who has been part of our client services team since April of 2011. She began her career in animal care in 1998 and has worked as a dog trainer, pet care specialist, kennel manager, groomer and zoo teacher.

“Anderson Mill Animal Clinic goes above and beyond ’good’ customer service expectations,” she says. “I also believe I should meet those expectations with every client to give them and their pets the best experience possible.”

Alex’s pets include a Pug named Grace, Japanese Bobtail named Charm, and a black cat named Catz Jazz. Her interests include hiking, birding, reading, and playing online video games.

Roxanne Rodriguez

Roxanne Rodriguez is a receptionist that has been with Anderson Mill Animal Clinic since May of 2011, but began her career in animal care as a recovery veterinary technician caring for postoperative pets. She also has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston.

“I like the idea of being in the full-service sector and being able to offer a wide spectrum of services that enable pet owners to give their beloved pets what is medically necessary to help them live out the best lives possible,” she says. “I like the customer service aspect of my job best and also being able to reassure clients that they are leaving their pets in the best hands.”

All of Roxanne’s pets are rescues, which include a Pitbull named Pig, American Bulldog, a Pitbull named Frida, and a Persian cat named Moosh. Her interests include spending time with her two children and her dogs, hiking, swimming, and anything outdoors where people and animals coexist. She is also active with Love-A-Bull, a local advocacy group in Austin that educates the public to change their perception of bully breeds.

Sarah Ellis is a Receptionist who has worked with Anderson Mill Animal Clinic since August of 2011, but first started working in animal care in 2005. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Texas and is currently enrolled in Allied Business School in Medical Coding. She is also experienced in animal assisted search and rescue and a certified CGC evaluator through AKC.

"I love how involved and hands-on the doctors are," she says. "They truly care about their patients and make a point to be involved. I also love how Anderson Mill is accredited by the AHHA. It shows a high level of dedication to the clients and patient care."

At home, she has a golden retriever/chow mix named Cadee and two cats named Sam and Calypso. Sarah's interests include reading, walking with her dog, video games, writing and cooking.
